The Bond for MBBS Admissions 2026 must be executed on Rs. 100/- Stamp Paper before a First-Class Judicial Magistrate having jurisdiction over either the candidate’s permanent place of residence in West Bengal or Durgapur, District Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal. Notarized affidavits/bonds and bonds executed before courts of any other jurisdiction will NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Admission

MBBS Course

Candidates who are citizens of India, NRIs, PIOs, OCIs and foreign nationals are eligible to take NEET.

Qualifying Exam

10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subject in both Classes 11 and 12 from a recognised board.

NEET qualified rank is mandatory.
Minimum Age Requirement

17 years as on December 31 of the year of admission

Maximum Age Limit

No upper age limit

Qualifying Marks in 10+2 Examination:
UR – 50%, PwD – 40%, SC/ST/OBC – 40% (minimum aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology)
Must also pass Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually.
Maximum Attempts

No limit on the permitted number of attempts.

ELIGIBILITY FOR PG COURSES

Qualification : Candidates must have MBBS degree recognized by the Medical Council of India / National Medical Commission, New Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria : NEET PG – 2023 qualified candidates who have been allotted to SRIMS & SH by the WBMCC are eligible to report for admissions for the academic year 2023-24.
